2001	Raymond Reserve Cabernet, Napa Valley raspberry, currants, oak, vanilla, dill, bread, cedar - so - ws	33	****
1998	Smith Haut Lafitte, Pessac Leognan BBQ, lots of herbs, astringent, tight, blackberry. So tight that it feels flat. Did open up a bit after 2 hours with hints of coffee and earth. - so - ws	36	***
2003	Caymus Cabernet, Napa Valley raspberry, fresh herbs, grapy, ginger, astringent, zesty. Needs time! - so - ws	65	****½
2001	Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac elegant and very strong nose of blackberry liqueur and mineral, cocoa, clove, oak, licorice, finishing with earth. Simpler than that I have expected out of a Mouton. - so - ws	130	****½
