2004	Merryvale Starmont Cabernet, Napa Valley very light in aroma and flavor. mild berry fruits. watery. not impressive even with supposed Beckstoffer and To Kalon grapes in it... perhaps a drop? - so - ws	19	**
2004	Hess Collection Mountain Cuvee, Mount Veeder Original price $29.99. K&L Club Members $23.95. This is a very complex wine. Tannic in the beginning, then opens to blackcurrant, violet, fine herbs, licorice and vanilla. Mainly a bordeaux blend with little syrah added. This is much more complex than their slightly more expensive Reserve Cabernet. KK wants 6, Hermann wants 2. - so - ws	24	****½
2002	Spring Mountain Cabernet, Napa Valley A little bit more mature than previous tastings. Chocolate and coffee, jammy plum in the background, super long finish. - so - ws	40	*****
2004	Robert Mondavi Cabernet, Oakville Very concentrated and jammy. Dark plum and cassis, fruity in the beginning. Unfortunately not holding up for too long. Also a bit one-dimensional. - so - ws	34	****
1999	Leoville Barton, St. Julien Cedar, berry, earth, eucalyptus, acidic, complex, long finish - so - ws	65	*****
2003	Lynch Bages, Pauillac Very strong mocha cream aroma. concentrated plum and blackcurrants. Long finish. There is a little hollow hole in mid palate which hopefully will be filled up with aging. - so - ws	85	*****
