| 2001 | White Rock Claret, Napa Valley $23.95 is K&L Club Member only. This wine has a huge fragrant/floral raspberry jam aroma. The flavor is concentrated with plum and lots of pencil lead. Follows with vanilla and chocolate. The body is full and slightly chalky. Very excited about the price (K&L is selling it at $42.99 for non-wine club customers). Need a second bottle to confirm since this has some years of bottle aging. Update: second bottle tasted at Ben's home was not as good... need yet another bottle. - so - ws | 23.95 | ****½ |
