NV Hei Yin (Happiness Banquet) Private Room Cuisine, Wan Chai
Sichuan, Japanese, Thai influenced cuisine. excellent appetizers and small dishes. I don't like the Rock Cod with chopped Chinese olives although wife likes it very much. Generally spicy hot in many dishes. Way too hot for the beef dish. Otherwise, creative and well made. Very impressive Japanese tomatoes with sesame-wasabi dressing. - so - ws

much better than previous 2 vintages. back to the old SLWC style. Fragrant, musky, coffee, blackcherry, silky, well balanced. - so - ws

a rather common Australian style shiraz, jammy, spicy, hot, boysenberry, long finish. Perhaps not a very good match with the food. - so - ws
