2005	Avalon Cabernet, California metallic, mineral, boysenberry, vanilla, cassis, toasty, full body, hot, tea leaves, turning quite simple with aeration. Know it's inexpensive California red. Thought it might have zinfandel in it. - so - ws	10	**
2004	Beringer Cabernet, Knights Valley dark plum, mocha, chalky, vanilla, earth. Thought it's a Spring Mountain cab. At one point it felt like $40-$50 wine. Know it's 2004 cab, thought it's napa. In hindsight, it does have a lot of Alexander Valley soil. Turning simple with aeration - so - ws	20	***½
