blackpepper, tight, thyme, blackberry, was complex and flavorful but flattened - so - ws

2005 Puygueraud, Cotes de Francs. $29.99. ***½
overripe, cherry, balsamic, oak, new world style, flatten quickly - so - ws

2005 Columbia Crest Reserve Cabernet, Columbia Valley. $29. ****
vanilla, spicy oak, very dark, some creamy butter notes, toffee, full body, aroma quite unusual, objectively very good wine. WS95? That's a bit of an exaggeration - so - ws

2005 Columbia Crest Reserve Cabernet Day 2, Columbia Valley. $29. *****
One inch left. Vanilla, blackcurrant and plum, very integrated, pencil lead, violet, coca cola, very long smooth finish - so - ws

2006 Justin Justification, Paso Robles. $40. ****½
Cabernet Franc based. Green pepper, tobacco, blackberry, hint of thinner in the beginning, concentrated, full body - so - ws
