(retrospect) dark, dark plum, anise, more elegant in style than previous vintages, vanilla, full body, lacking some expected power and length. - so - ws

(retrospect) A lot of black olive, pepper, green pepper, lavender, hint of cedar. A little too herbal for my taste, yet great concentration and length. - so - ws

(retrospect) French oak, cloves, toast, blackberry, silky smooth but not thick. Elegant in style. But somewhat closed. - so - ws

(retrospect) lots of loam, raspberry, herbs, very concentrated, long finish. Depending on whether you like the loam, it can be a bit put off. I'm quite OK with it. Can use a bit more oak or coffee like flavor. - so - ws

(retrospect) beautiful deep aroma of butter, pear and toasty oak. Complex and long. - so - ws
