2003	Epicuro, Salice Salentino Always interesting to try a Trader Joe's inexpensive and exotic wine. This one has 80% negroamaro, 20% Malvasia Nera. Fruty and floral, spicy cherry, grassy, a hint of horse shit (not an offensive aroma really), licorice. Sweet, light but flavorful. Pleasant when first opened, but getting simpler and more off dry afterwards. - so - ws	4.99	**
2004	Souverain Cabernet, Alexander Valley Souverain used to be named Souverain. Later they changed their name to Chateau Souverain. Then recently they sold their beautiful chateau to Coppola and changed their name back to Souverain. This wine has blackberry, smoke, vanilla, mixed herbs, and licorice. Concentrated. Med body, med finish. - so - ws	15.99	***
