2003	Kalinda Reserve Cabernet, Napa we don't know where this one is from. It has some Spring Mountain and some Stags Leap characteristics. Chalky, chocolate, anise, blackberry jam, long finish. Not very consistent though. I have tasted a total of 5 bottles, each one is slightly different, including one quite corked. - so - ws	25.99	****
2004	Hollywood Vine 2480, Napa I believe this one is corked. Not much flavor but quite heavy duty, built like a Lewis. Hope I can get a refund and retry (Shoot where's my receipt)? - so - ws	75	n/a
2002	Hall Darwin Red, Napa I'm starting to worry about my taste bud and aroma judgement. I think this is the third corked wine of the night but very very mildly. This wine is great though, chocolate, blackberry, plum, astringent, super long finish. Should try more wines from Hall. - so - ws	45	****½
NV	Overture, Napa a hint of barnyardy aroma, a signature of an aged Opus One which is supposed to be a flaw according to James Laube explaining the low Opus One WS scores in recent years. If you get past that, this wine has good currant jam, raspberry, finishing short. - so - ws	45	****
2003	Calon Segur, St. Esteph barnyardy and inky in the beginning, still very tight over the evening but the barnyardy aroma has gone. leather, chocolate, coffee, plummy, long finish - so - ws	100	****½
2003	Hug Cellars Syrah, San Luis Obispo blueberry, violet, floral, jammy, long ripe finish. A little reduced. - so - ws	45	****½
2005	Two Hands Lily's Garden Shiraz, McLaren's Vale blueberry, spicy, licorice, sage, orange zest, floral. Complex but not having depth. - so - ws	40	***½
