2001	Silver Oak Cabernet, Napa Valley Silver Oak throws two big parties every year to celebrate the releases of their two cabernets, the Alexander Valley Cab and the higher-end Napa Valley Cab. These events should never be missed! For $20 you get to eat lots of barbeque food and all-you-can-drink Silver Oak cabernet. The beautiful logo glass is for you to keep too. The 2001 Napa Cab was the best Silver Oak I've tried. It's very ripe and concentrated. Aroma of black cherry and chocolate. Taste of jammy dried cherry and perhaps a bit raisiny like port. Lots of toasty herbs and oak. A chalky full body. Tannic but not at all bitter thanks to the ripeness of the fruit. - so - ws	100	****½
