2001	Penfolds Bin 389, South Australia Fantastic vintage of Bin 389. Pleasant cassis, blueberry fruit, fresh vanilla oak, very smooth body, almost soup-like texture. Approachable without airing, but getting more concentrated in the next couple of hours. There is a hint of pepper spice and mint in the finish. Somewhat simple. 3.5 stars in the beginning graduating to 4 with some airing. - so - ws	18.99	****
