2000 Paul Hobbs Beckstoffer-Tokalon Cabernet, Napa Valley
"Mystery wine" as finale to the 2001 Bordeaux First Growths tasting. Black plum nose, jammy, lots of plums and plums with a hint of coffee. Concentrated but not very complex. Marginal 5 stars. I easily figured it was a 2000 Napa Cabernet, incorrectly thought it was Joseph Phelps Baccus Vineyard Cabernet or Insignia. - so - ws
69.99 *****
