Restrained nose, very jammy pineapple, apple, more like fruit punch than wine, high alcohol content, bitter finish kind of like ginger. Unbalanced. - so - ws

cedar, berry, meat, smoke, earth, a touch of eucalyptus which is not a good sign, most likely due to aging. A bit tired. Green pepper. - so - ws

Raspberry, plum, tart, lacking a good finish, good mid palate though, smoky, prune, yes lots of dried prune. Turning more concentrated with airing. - so - ws

I am very sensitive to the taste of Zinfandel and I detected it instantly. What is surprising is the high percentage of pinot noir. Leaves, forest greens, concentrated, jammy, metallic, a bit of licorice. - so - ws

23.95 for K&L Wine Club members, this is a wine declassified from a Burdundy Domaine that usually costs $60. It has lots of cherry, olive, jamminess, med-full body, sugar cane, candy, and matches perfectly with a beouf bourgignon made with a $5 Lindeman's Pinot Noir. - so - ws

fish stock? metallic, infanmil, sea weed... perhaps I have drunken too much. Does turn jammy, plummy and has some olive notes to it. - so - ws
