2002	Rudd Estate Cabernet, Napa Valley winemaker Ramey moved on to his own winery, newly on board is Charles Thomas formerly with Cardinale (Kendall Jackson). Don't like his style as much as Ramey's. This wine has blueberry, herbs, cranberry, crayon, olive, is chalky and tannic. Very long finish. Later developed a hint of lavender and ... watermelon! - so - ws	90	****
2001	Rudd Oakville Proprietary Red, Napa Valley blackcherry, plum, chocolate, lacking mid palette, coffee, somewhat fuller in the next 15 minutes. Still not as vibrant and memorable as the 2000 vintage (which was made by Ramey). - so - ws	125	****
