2000	Susana Balbo Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza Floral aroma turning mildly earthy and dusty in the glass. Complex layers of blackcurrant, mint, raspberry, cranberry and earthy flavors. Acidic, med body. The texture was light in the beginning, deepening with aeration. - so - ws	25.00	****
1998	Robert Mondavi Oakville Cabernet, Oakville This wine was priced at $45-50 when first released. A reasonably good wine for a poor vintage. A bit of sulphur in the beginning, having plum, cherry and vanilla, jammy with a '98 characteristic herbal tea leaves finish. Med to full body. Aeration is absolutely required. - so - ws	25.99	***
1999	Robert Mondavi Oakville Cabernet, Oakville Concentrated blackberry, currant, violet, long finish with mild, soft tannins, teeth-roughing. - so - ws	29.99	****
1999	Robert Mondavi SLD Cabernet, Stags Leap District aroma of peony, raspberry, very concentrated with a little earthy hint. Remarkable wine. Half a grade better than the Oakvilles, not quite 5-star yet. - so - ws	39.99	****
2000	Chateau Fonreaud, Listrac-Medoc blackberry, coffee aroma, complex in the beginning, very quickly faded into simplicity, acidic, unappealing metallic finish. - so - ws	15.00	**
