2000	Enate Merlot-Merlot, Somontano K&L Shipment. Nose was not quite agreeable when first opened. But airing in the bottle helps dramatically. Still smells a bit like Chinese salt-sour-vegetable, unusual spice, cherry, plum, orange peel, chocolate, complex but strange. - so - ws	25	**
1998	La Poderina, Brunello di Montalcino Very different from what I remembered in TWC tasting. tar, soft cherry, berry, cedar, round and supple, but not as intense as I remembered. Great synergy with beef bourginon. - so - ws	45.99	****
1999	Raymond Reserve Cabernet, Napa Valley Hand's pick. Plum, meat, pepper, currant, vanilla oak, intense but round, med to full body, med to long finish. - so - ws	13.99	****
1999	Signorello Cabernet, Napa Valley K&L Shipment. Earthy aroma with just a slight hint of barnyard, plum and herb, quite concentrated and focus. Tannic (but not overly). - so - ws	25	***
2000	Pichon-Lalande Reserve de la Comtesse, Pauillac Complex aroma of herbs, meat, green pepper, cedar, cassis, cola, blackcurrant, extremely complex, med finish. Turning a bit flat rather quickly indicating decanting should not be done for too long. What a steal for the price! - so - ws	24.99	****
