2000	Kalinda Dry Creek Valley Cabernet, Dry Creek Valley K&L's own label. Their 1997 Rutherford Cabernet begins this excuse notes. I don't think there are other vintages in between. This 2000 rendition shows blackcurrant, pencil lead, violet, meat and a hint of mint. Very mineral. Some dried plum. Strong mid-palate, but has a thin to med body. med finish. Juicy, flavorful, but not well balanced. - so - ws	14.99	***
1998	Chateau Beau Soleil, Pomerol Mild plum, dried leaves, Chinese herbal "cool tea", extremely extracting, astringent, leaves tongue dry. A bitter finish. Needs aeration? - so - ws	39	**
1998	Fratelli Revello Barolo, Barolo very fragrant, herb bouquet, extracting, mouth drying. Cherry, berry, tea leaves, long finish. Not too stable. Softening very quickly in bottle. - so - ws	42	***
