2000	Columbia Crest Two Vines Merlot, California Bigland's. awkward aroma of tiredness. Cherry, berry, chocolate. Knew it's a US wine. I am baffled as to why this wine is rated consistently lower than Pau's identical wine. Two theories: in between there were two great wines; the second was not well stored; the latter was aired too long due to the order of serving. Comparative tasting afterwards shows identical tastes, closer to the current rating. - so - ws	5	***
